Roll to Roll Magnetron Sputtering
Roll-to-roll magnetron sputtering provides excellent control in the sputtered film process — creating very thin, uniform layers on film substrates. Thanks to our 77” wide-web sputtering capabilities and patented vacuum-coating technologies, we can deposit any kind of metal (including metal- and metal-nitrides) on a broad range of different substrates.
We tightly control all aspects of the process to deposit precious metals or complex stacks onto thin polymeric substrates. Novel developments, such as our breakthrough PreciseAU™ technology, use 30% less gold while achieving the same surface resistivity levels — creating significant cost savings while maintaining performance. Roll to Roll Wet-Coating and Lamination
CoreTech offers extensive wet-coating and laminating experience and multiple in-house coating formulation labs, providing our customers with solutions to even the most challenging requirements. We manufacture customized adhesives, hard coats, and a wide range of innovative specialty coatings (antimicrobial, anti-reflective, etc.).
Our capabilities include single and dual-sided lamination, as well as rod, slot-die, and different gravure processing methods. CoreTech coating lines are set up in cleanroom environments and equipped with advanced process inspection systems, that allow us to maintain tight tolerances and deliver uniform, low-contamination films.
Multi-Layer Films
Multi-layer films are a perfect way to keep surfaces optically clear and clean. Our solutions are used for everything from optically clear racing goggles or windshield covers, to peel-away anti-graffiti films for public transportation and medical visor covers.
With up to four layers of peel-clean protection and a smart tab design — our films are a cost-effective and fast way to improve visibility and protect surfaces from contaminants, permanent markers, scratches, and even acids. We will work with you to define the right dimensions and create custom-cut solutions for easy installation and use.
Roll to Roll Converting
In-house custom film converting capabilities include but are not limited to custom slitting, cutting (lase, blade, CNC, die-cutting), packaging for optically clear custom coatings, hard coats, pressure-sensitive adhesives and more.
We can convert CoreTech films and adhesives to strict tolerances and specifications, and trim to a variety of shapes and sizes for all applications; all within Class 1,000 or 10,000 clean room conditions.
